The conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the University founding.

The origin of the State Agrarian and Engineering University in Podilya dates back to 1919, to the creation of the Agricultural Faculty affiliated to Kamianets-Podilskyi State Ukrainian University. Later, in 1921 Agricultural Faculty was reorganized into Kamianets-Podilskyi Agricultural Institute, in 1955 - into Kamianets-Podilskyi Agricultural and Engineering Academy, in 2004 - into State Agrarian and Engineering University in Podilya (PDATU).

During the following years the University has been undergoing dynamic changes, developing and widening its activities and premises. Currently the University consists of four faculties (Veterinary Medicine and Technologies in Livestock, Agricultural Technologies and Environmental Management, Engineering and Technology, Economics), Institute of Postgraduate Education and Retraining, O.             The IJM&P and PDATU partnership with publishing this SPECIAL EDITION, aims to promote the proceedings of the II ASEEIC, during which the relevant research findings were presented.
