Relationship between developing manager and managerial economics: a theoretical overview

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between developing managers and managerial economics. This study examines the contributions of managerial economics to developing managers. Current study deals with a complete critical analysis of theoretical overview based on journals, books, and other sources. Managerial performance, skill, and effectiveness have been discussed in aspect of managerial economics. The bidirectional analysis proves that managerial performance creates economic efficiency and effectiveness. The major contributions of this analysis give the knowledge and way of developing a manager by supporting managerial economics. The stakeholder of this study can able to make a bridge between management and managerial economics.

Md. Hasanur Rahman, Comilla University

Md. Hasanur Rahman is an MSS research student at the department of economics, from Comilla University, Bangladesh. He has published several articles in SCOPUS, ISI, and Thomson Reuters indexed journals. Areas of interest are managerial economics, international trade, environmental economics, econometrics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.

Shapan Chandra Majumder, Comilla University

Dr. Shapan Chandra Majumder is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Comilla University, Bangladesh. Dr. Majumder has completed his PhD. from the School of Economics, University of Shandong, P. R. China. He has taught at different Bangladeshi universities and has published many articles in SCOPUS, ESCI and Thomson Reuters Indexed journals. Dr. Majumder has eleven years of university teaching experience. His areas of interest cover foreign direct investment inflows in developing countries, one belt one road, infrastructure development, environmental economics, energy economics, development economics, international trade and applied econometrics.
